Earning PED through Entropia Partners

Hey all, Just wanted to give you a heads up to check out the Entropia Partners website. This is a great website that can help you earn PED by either watching short videos or completing tasks. The videos pay .04 Ped (4 pec) per video and the tasks range anywhere from a few pec to a bit more. I've already made 4 PED (which i deposited promptly into my account ingame) and I've got to say the ingame payout system works very efficient and conveniently. There is no minimum for withdrawls although there is a .05ped fee per withdrawl for handling. Entropia Partners connects you directly with an ingame representative since there is no true way for others to deposit into your account in Entropia Universe/Planet Calypso. Anyways check out their website because if your looking for a little extra ped for ammo/repairs this is one way to get it. www.entropiapartners.com

Price of Sweat

Currently, the price of sweat is 1.8 - 2.2 PED per 1000 units although you may be able to get a better deal in places like Next Island where the supply of sweat is much lower. I've heard a few arguments for the price of Sweat to increase in the coming months but it heavily depends on not only the in game market but the will of sweaters to sell their sweat for a decent rate. What do you think? Do you think sweat is heading higher like many sweat stockpillers or do you think its destined for the current rate or perhaps lower. Sound off in the comment section below.

Hey all!

This is the 20th Post here at Calypso Profit and I'm here to tell you that I'm finally feeling some momentum within PC and I think if I can maintain a steady pace profit will not be too far off. Although I've recently spent a good chunk of my PED I've acquired a good deal of sweat and loot that I'm waiting to sell. I'm gonna continue to swunt (sweat hunt) and try to gain more experience and loot along the way.

Sweating Hunting and Exploring

I spent my most recent excursion in Planet Calypso focusing on gaining more sweat, skills, and loot while exploring nearby locations. I ended up spending 3.30 PED to repair my Enblade but I managed to gain quite a decent amount of loot and sweat from this weeks adventures. Not only did I surpass 1500 sweat but I managed to earn 3.04 PED off of the loot, meaning I practically broke even.

I got a new rank in long blades and a new rank in melee combat. I also had two separate large scale loots (for me large scale) one being .75 PED and the other being 1.67PED, definitely a record for me! Anyways, here are my new stats! (I ended up spending 2 PED on repairing my enblade but did not use it at until prior to logging out)

PED: 4.00

Back to Port Atlantis Sweating

After a good bout of walking for stones and fruits I came up empty handed. I decided to head back to Atlas Haven and then used a teleporter to Port Atlantis. I spent a good hour or so sweating and killing low level mobs and made some good skills and some decent money from it. I managed to loot .85 PED worth by only killing a few creatures with my severely damaged Enblade.

I managed to improve my strength and alertness; two things not that easily to increase.

Anyways here are my updated stats. Enjoy!

PED: 6.34 (+.85)
Sweat Gatherer: 319 (+5)
Anatomy: 317 (+3)
LWT: 295
LongBlades: 233 (+14)

Walking for stones, fruit, and or dung

=================
TIPS

* Set your character to walk by opening the option box. You will not find anything if you are in run mode.
* Walk through areas that are away from teleporters.
* In Port Atlantis walk outside of the limits in order to find items.
* Be patient!
=================

I've spent a decent amount of time recently walking throughout Planet Calypso. Sure the sights are nice but my main goal isn't to find a hidden spot within Calypso. Today I'm looking for stones, fruit, or dung. Yes, dung. Why you ask?

Well, when you set your character in walk mode you are able to easily see items located on the ground such as those mentioned above. Items on the ground can be sold for trade or auction for very good prices. Better yet, finding them takes absolutely no investment money wise. Time wise, however, is a much different story.

On the many forums in the Planet Calypso community there are many stories of people finding large deposits of stones on the ground. So, I decided to take a little break from sweating and hunting to try my luck at "walking". Despite nearly an hour of walking my trip came up pretty empty handed although I did find some good locations for future mining and walking trips. I'm hoping that my luck changes and I will strike it rich in some fruit. At the very least I will gain a few skills from dying from high level creatures.

That's all for now (stat updates next time)

1000 Sweat!

Judging by the title you've probably realized I hit my 1000th bottle of sweat which means I finally have the opportunity to sell it for good market value. After asking around a bit I found out that sweat is currently going for 2.5-2.8 (far from its former 5) PED. I figure I might continue to gather more sweat before I sell but if the opportunity arises I might just go for it.

Keep in mind however, that means it will take 400,000 bottles of sweat to hit the 1000 PED mark. YIKES! Because of this, I'm looking to utilize hunting and sweating to get to that important 1000 mark.

I spent 5+ PED to repair my Enblade again but I did gain a lot of experience and I gained another .1 tier on it. Plus I looted about .60 PED so far with it while sweating.

Here are my updated stats:

PED: 5.49
Sweat Gatherer: 314
Anatomy: 314
Light Weapons Tech: 295
First Aid: 222
Longblades: 219

Back in the Swing of Things

Hey all,

It's been a while since I posted last and I figured I would let you all know I am still going at it. I've had a little bit of trouble getting Planet Calypso to load but lately it has been loading normally again. I ended up spending a bit of my money over the past few weeks on a new blade that I've been using while sweating on the western side of Port Atlantis. This has helped me gain a bit of loot money although my repairs are costing me quite a bit. Its a bit hard to earn cash while sweating but I've found the L1 mobs tend to be unable to kill me before I can drain them of sweat. Hopefully the L2 Mobs will be next! Here's my stats updates

PED: 16.10
LWT 295
Sweat Gatherer: 305
Anatomy: 298
First Aid: 222
Rifle: 201
Evade: 175
Prospecting: 107
Athletics: 109
Combat: 129
Mining: 100
Health: 92
Longblades: 175
Strength 23

Sweat Inventory: 660

Actions:
New Rank Heavy Melee Weapons
New Rank Longblades
Strength Improved
Carry Weight Capacity Increased

Welcome to Calypso Profit!

Hey all!

Welcome to Calypso Profit, a guide to making money in the online game Planet Calypso (formerly known as Entropia Universe). There have been a lot of rumors over the years about just how much money (if any) could be made in the Planet Calypso Universe. Since I played the game a little bit I decided to see just how difficult it would be to make money in this game.

Planet Calyspo allows both deposits and withdrawals of in game currency known as PED. The dollar to PED exchange rate is fixed to 10 PED for 1 US Dollar. This means that for every 100PED you have in game it equals 10 US dollars. Despite this, there is a minimum withdrawal limit of 1000 PED and upwards which equals 100 US dollars. This means that I am going to have to attempt to make 1000 PED within the Planet Calypso game.

Luckily, I already had a character I used for experimenting with the game it definitely has made money making a little easier than those who are just starting out. My starting skills and money for this experiment are:

PED on hand 14.82
LWT: 295
Sweat Gatherer: 279
Anatomy: 258
First Aid: 204
Rifle: 201
Evade: 160
Prospecting: 105
Athletic: 101
Combat: 100
Mining: 98
Health: 91
Sweat Inventory: 1,460

This time I sold some loot and a pair of elf shoes that I got over the christmas holiday. I also gathered a good amount of sweat which helps rack up the PED at a slow but steady pace. Although I only put in a few hours I think my PED amount will gradually reach my goal if I stick at it!
