The Quest Continues

Hey all!

So my quest continues! I've been spending a lot of time sweating recently and have gained a considerable amount of PED through last time's sales of sweat and items. Anyways, I will continue forward in an attempt to make a profit on Planet Calypso!

Welcome to Calypso Profit!

Hey all!

Welcome to Calypso Profit, a guide to making money in the online game Planet Calypso (formerly known as Entropia Universe). There have been a lot of rumors over the years about just how much money (if any) could be made in the Planet Calypso Universe. Since I played the game a little bit I decided to see just how difficult it would be to make money in this game.

Planet Calyspo allows both deposits and withdrawals of in game currency known as PED. The dollar to PED exchange rate is fixed to 10 PED for 1 US Dollar. This means that for every 100PED you have in game it equals 10 US dollars. Despite this, there is a minimum withdrawal limit of 1000 PED and upwards which equals 100 US dollars. This means that I am going to have to attempt to make 1000 PED within the Planet Calypso game.

Luckily, I already had a character I used for experimenting with the game it definitely has made money making a little easier than those who are just starting out. My starting skills and money for this experiment are:

PED on hand 14.82
LWT: 295
Sweat Gatherer: 279
Anatomy: 258
First Aid: 204
Rifle: 201
Evade: 160
Prospecting: 105
Athletic: 101
Combat: 100
Mining: 98
Health: 91
Sweat Inventory: 1,460

This time I sold some loot and a pair of elf shoes that I got over the christmas holiday. I also gathered a good amount of sweat which helps rack up the PED at a slow but steady pace. Although I only put in a few hours I think my PED amount will gradually reach my goal if I stick at it!
